The Retech R&D Metal Atomization System utilize our proven melting technologies in combination with gas atomization to produce powders that meet the specific needs of our customers. Plasma Arc Melting (PAM)

With 600 kW of plasma melting power, as well as vacuum induction and cold-wall induction capabilities, the installed Retech system can successfully be used for smaller volume R&D and toll melting endeavors as well as having a unique configuration used for the production of small diameter metal/alloy bars and powders.

Electron Beam (EB) Melting

In 2015, with the help of our sponsors, Retech installed a dedicated two-gun electron beam R&D system. The system has been configured to explore equipment and application development, alloy development and small-run, toll melting.
