New Materials, include titanium, zirconium, cobalt, nickel-based & super-alloys as well as chromium and silicon-based materials, with other alloys requiring special and/or precise melting practices. PAM-5

Since 2012, the PAM-5 has a single 600 kW plasma torch as well as having vacuum induction and cold-wall induction capabilities. This system is primarily used for smaller volume R&D and toll melting endeavors and has a unique configuration used in the production of small diameter metal/alloy bars.
