Matthew Poeller

Sr. Director of Operations

Matthew began his career at Dresser-Rand, in the technical support and upgrades group, where he worked on upgrading centrifugal compressors that were far older than he was to the latest technology while supporting customers need to get back up and running. From there he moved on to a smaller manufacturing company where he quickly moved up in the ranks to eventually become the VP of Engineering and Operations, responsible for launching new technology into healthcare and dialysis markets. His next stop was VP Operations at a software/technology company where Matt applied manufacturing principles and queuing theory to a largely transactional and turnaround time driven business. While there, much in part to improved turnaround times, they won the business of the largest bank in the United States and successfully completed an IPO on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Ultimately manufacturing was Matt’s true calling and so he moved on to United Silicone, a company under the Illinois Tool Works umbrella. As the Equipment Operations Manager, Matthew was in charge of all engineering and production of custom and standard machinery as well as oversite to facilities management and all capital projects. In his free time Matt likes to spend it with his family, two rescue dogs, and many hobbies, including woodworking, bicycling, ice hockey, 3D printing, reading, and learning to code in Python. Matt has his degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA, and a Six Sigma Black Belt certification all from the University at Buffalo.
